Their skipper Shan Masood along with the youngster Saim Ayub has put up a good partnership after being 0/1 in the first over itself. Pakistan will walk off with a lot of confidence as the players head for LUNCH.

The day started with Taskin Ahmed getting rid of Abdullah Shafique in the first over itself, putting Pakistan on the backfoot straight away. It was then a combination of beautiful cricket shots and good running between the wickets that helped both the batters to get their team back in the game. Shan Masood was the first to bring up his half century and his partner, Saim Ayub will be eager to get back after Lunch to get to the second half century of his Test career. Pakistan will be hoping that this partnership grows well and gets them to a good first innings total on this wicket. Bangladesh, on the other hand, will be a little disappointed with their bowling as the conditions were helpful for the fast bowlers at the start but they could only manage one wicket in the session. They need to regroup as a team and get their plans right to pick up quick wickets and get a grip back on the game.
